Our sheep grow their wool on a diet of grass and haylage grown on the farm. Green Mountain Spinnery , a Worker-Owned Cooperative in Putney, Vermont, processes and spins the wool. Which is then passed on to Muriel’s of Vermont, a mother-and-son garment business who work alongside New England farmers and whom we closely collaborate with to create the sweaters you can find here on the website ! The whole process is contained within a 200 mile radius as the crow flies for a climate sensitive and beautiful result.
