We raise sheep and all the grass and hay they eat on a 400 acre farm in the towns of Great Barrington, Alford and Egremont, MA. The flock provides nourishing food, warm wool, and the manure to grow extraordinary flowers.

Our founder, Lila, became steward of the land in 1991. From the beginning our approach has been regenerative and sustainable. No herbicides or pesticides have been used on the land in over 30 years. Second and third generation family members continue this commitment.

Our breeding priorities are to raise animals who thrive on Berkshire grass and sunshine, and provide delicious meat and fine wool. Wool quality resembles fine Rambouillet wool, but is not as sticky.

Oh, and this is Harriet. She was born in February of 2022, and she represents her flock well. Her wool is soft, her face and legs are clean, and she is a love ❤️
