Our sheep grow their wool on a diet of grass and haylage grown on the farm. Green Mountain Spinnery , a Worker-Owned Cooperative in Putney, Vermont, processes and spins the wool. Which is then passed on to Muriel’s of Vermont, a mother-and-son garment business who work alongside New England farmers and whom we closely collaborate with to create the sweaters you can find here on the website! The whole process is contained within a 200 mile radius as the crow flies for a climate sensitive and beautiful result.
